Finding and installing Router Apps

Robustel routers are much more flexible because users can add device functionality.

For example, if you want to configure your router as a basic Cloud gateway, you can install a couple of Apps to give it that functionality, like Modbus RTU/TCP connections and MQTT or Azure cloud connectors.

Steps to install apps (RCMS):

1Log into your RCMS cloud account
2Under Robustlink, select "View All Devices"
3Click the serial number of the device you need to install the app onto
4Click the "Apps" tab.
5Select the App under "App Name" and "Version"
6Click "Update" to update the app on your router over the air

Steps to install apps (Manual/Directly on Router)

1Log into your RCMS cloud account
2Go to App Centre
3Click on "E2C APP" for Edge to cloud apps (You can also find firmware and other apps in different tab sections)
4Select the correct app under "Name"
5Select your router under "Series"
6Click on the available option
7Click "Download" to download the app.
8Log into your router locally (Connected via a LAN cable)
9Go to "System" --> "App Centre"
10Click "Browse" and select the App you downloaded and click install
